I love you Happy, not only was this a parallel to Lucy getting burnt by Natsu but it also shows that Happy isn’t just a boring mascot — he’s a character with thoughts, feeling and goals beyond just eating another fish. He’s always been overlooked, but at the end of the day, he’s the one who’s been the best friend to everyone. My child.

OMG, for a second I thought they were the main characters of some other manga, as in the main couple who go through a lot of suffering and still end up together. Those full of angst comics when one person continuously tortures and bullies the other and the other person still somehow falls in love with its bully.

That is, until I realised they were future Lucy and Rogue. And in the next microsecond I was sad....

one thing i absolutely love about the beta heaven scene (aside from the obvious) is that it shows natsu remembers zeref as he was, before he tried to invade as the emperor and use the neo eclipse. whether that's because he remembers more of his life before the eclipse gate now or whether he values their interactions on tenrou and in tartaros more, i don't know. i just like it

also love that with them sitting together, you can really see how they share the same colour scheme for their outfits, right down to the same shade of yellow for the lining. when natsu isn't using his dragon slayer magic, they have the same eyes

Ft 100YQ ch 138 - Thoughts - DEFEAT VIERNES BEGINS

Umm...so we have the basic groundwork for defeating VIERNES laid out for us.

The dragon being a 'concept' was very confusing but this chapter cleared everything by making it a 'will' of the said dragon instead.

So basically they just use a separate enchantment to separate his will out of the guild, and then use 'Philosopher stone' to give it a body.

Good enough. At least now everything is clear!

After 10+ chapters we can finally see a clear picture of the events happening!

This arc has been pretty boring so far, ngl and I'm not all that invested to say the least but anyways...

Liked the new developments between Athena and Lucy.

Wendy is on the same level as Irene?

Wasn't Irene the strongest woman in Alakatashia?

Saying Wendy is on equal terms as Irene is just...I dunno?

Curious to see how Sabertooth will find the Philosopher stone.

Also we're getting another Battle of Fairytail 3.0?

Overall, these recent chapters are leaving just a bad taste in my mouth. First Yukino getting a SD just like that and now this? If something good or epic happens in the next few chapters, I'll be super glad but my hopes for this arc have been declining steadily.

I read the 100yrs quest and I loved Irene and Wendy's (teacher/student) dynamic, just wanted to know what were your thoughts on it and if you got any personal headcanons hehe

Part of me wishes Irene stayed around. She had such a shitty life, it would've been nice to see her find genuine happiness and grow...

So, yes, I have many thoughts about them.

Wendy still hears Irene's advice in her head. Even years after Irene is gone

Irene will kill someone for Wendy. No questions asked. She's so protective of her

Irene views Wendy as her daughter. She never says anything but has fully adopted the child (plus she knows Erza is close to her so)

Wendy has figured out Irene has a soft spot for her but doesn't know the extent of it

Wendy has started confiding in Irene about personal stuff as well as magic. Irene doesn't always give the best advice but she does try (tho half the time its like "murder them")

Irene really enjoys viewing the world from Wendy's perspective. Wendy sees the good in every situation and Irene finds it refreshing

Wendy loves her lessons and has started looking forward to Irene's teaching. They soon map out a specific time where Irene can give her proper instruction (instead of the life or death lessons mid battle)

Even tho Irene claims she has no interest in Erza, Wendy tells her about her daughter often. She's told her about all Erza's accomplishments, how much she's loved, silly stories, sad stories and basically everything she can think of.

Wendy likes to hear stories about Irene's life. Irene tries to give her the happy ones mostly, but every once in awhile she'll let a sad one slip. Wendy is a very good listener and it's become very therapeutic for Irene (she tries not to burden the little girl with her trauma tho)
